C18 ashlar facade to earlier house (probably C17). 3 storeys 5 windows.
Rusticated quoins and ground floor, plain band at 1st floor level, moulded
cornice and triangular pediment over whole width, with wheel window in
tympanum. 2nd floor windows casements, glazing bars, architrave surrounds.
1st floor windows sashes, glazing bars, architrave surrounds; pulvinated
friezes and alternate segmental and triangular pediments. Central pediment
(segmental) supported by enriched brackets. Windows on this floor have
moulded sills on cut stone brackets. Ground floor windows sashes, no
glazing bars, keystones, plain sills. Central square-headed doorway with
architrave surround, keystone and flat stone hood on moulded brackets.
6-panelled door. The end elevation (left-hand side) has 1 gable (partly
cut away for frontage), and some 2 and 3-light casements with moulded
stone mullions. The rear elevation shows 2 high-pitched gables with stone-tiled
roofs and square ashlar chimney stacks.
