Early C18. 2 storeys, part with attic. Consists of a formal and dignified wing to right hand which projects at left hand side of No 4 and an obtrusive, possibly older, portion to left hand. The wing at right hand is of brick with angle stone pilasters, full height. Moulded stone string over ground floor windows, moulded stone cornice, and brick parapet with moulded stone coping. Hipped old tile roof with gable end brick chimneys. 1 casement dormer. Glazing bar sashes in raised flat stone surrounds with moulded outer and beaded inner edges. Facing road - 2 ranges of tall windows with stone strings and surrounds, no glazing bars on ground floor. Return towards No 4, one range of similar windows. Cast lead rain water head in angle. Interior has panelled window seats and shutters. Left hand part is slightly lower and of 2 storeys. Red brick with regular header courses. Pantile roof, hipped to left. Glazing bar sash windows with brick flat arches, 2 on 1st floor. 2 windows on ground floor (left hand C19) and 2 doors, one to right hand original 6 panel door (to former through passage); and later door adjoining left hand window.
