HORNINGSHAM CHURCH LANE ST 84 SW (east side) 2/119 Five monuments in the churchyard, between 12 and 18 metres south of south chapel of Church of St. John the Baptist

GV II

Five chest tombs. C18 and early C19. Limestone. North pair with oval fielded panels and floral carving; ivy covered at time of survey (June 1985). South tomb to James Rance, Lord Weymouth's gardener, died 1704, has two recessed panels and fluted pilasters, north tomb with illegible inscription similar to this. One with oval panels and fielded pilasters and entablature; two of the pilasters are now on top of the adjacent tomb.
