GV II

Three cottages, now one house. Early C17 and early C18. Square- panelled timber-framing with brick nogging, partly rebuilt in dressed stone, early C18, concrete tiled roof with half-hip to right, formerly thatched, brick stacks. Two-storey, 4-windowed; casements. Six-panelled door to left of centre in gabled porch, three 3-light casements and one 2-light casement to left, one 3- light recessed chamfered mullioned casement and one 2-light casement to right. First floor has 2-light and 3-light casements to left, 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to rebuilt centre with moulded string course and 2-light casement to right. The left two bays are partly rubble stone and with lower eaves. Right return has C20 casement to ground floor, exposed framing. Rear has C20 outshut to right with gabled dormers, casements and 3- light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to centre. Interior restored 1970s: deeply chamfered beams and two open fireplaces with chamfered lintels on stone jambs, good early C17 stairs with moulded splat balusters and wide moulded handrail, square newels.
