TM 1838 WOOLVERSTONE WOOLVERSTONE PARK 7/41 Park View, Dairy House - and adjoining dairy - II Pair of houses and dairy. 1870 on datestone, for Berners estate. Red brick with white brick and ashlar dressings. Mock timber-framing to houses. Plain tile roofs, bands of fishscale tiles to dairy. Domestic revival style. Houses: 2 storeys, 2-bay centre range with projecting cross wings. Entrances to cross wings in angle with front. Square bays with casement windows under pent porch. Hipped half dormers above. To cross wings square bays with 4-light mullion windows. Mock timber-framing and mullion windows above. Bargeboards to gables. Small-paned casement windows throughout. Tall polygonal stacks. Present entrances to rear, porch to left cottage with datestone. Adjoining to right a timber loggia under tiled roof linking with dairy. Dairy: Single storey. Gabled cross range with stack to left with polygonal-ended range to right. Half glazed door with linenfold panelling under timber porch to front gable. Rustic timber veranda on knapped flint base to polygonal range. Mullion windows, those to polygonal room with shouldered lights. Crested roof. Interior retains original decorative scheme with tiled floors, dados and other details. Original doors. Polygonal room have tiled walls, painted decoration and central octagonal marble table.
