POLSTEAD RECTORY HILL 1. 5377 The Rectory TL 93 NE 45/903 23.1.58 II 2. A timber-framed building probably of C16 or C17 origin but now faced in gault brick with stucco rusticated quoins. Cross wings at the east and west ends project on the front. Roof tiled. Two storyes. 1:2:1 window range of C18-C19 double-hung sashes with glazing bars, stucco architraves and hood moulds. There is an 8-panel door. Two ridge chimney stacks.
