Pair of cottages. Formerly house. C15 or early C16, with C16
and later alterations. A 3-cell (possibly open-hall) house with
cross-wing at the parlour end. No. 3: one-and-a-half storeys and
attics, comprising the hall range. Timber-framed, encased in
painted brick. Cedar shingled roof with gabled casement dormer
and large C17 axial chimney of red brick. C19 and C20 small-pane
casements. Boarded entrance door with glazed panel. Moulded C16
1st floor beams, possibly inserted into an open hall. No. 5
comprises wing of two storeys. Timber-framed and rendered, with
jettied 1st floor on four brackets. C19 and C20 small-pane
casements. C20 flat-roofed 1-storey entrance porch at side.
