Farmhouse. Dated 1635 with C19 alterations. Ashlar; tile roof; verge parapets with ball finials; side stacks. 'U'-plan, now made rectangular. 2 storeys and attic with floor strings (labels to attic windows), 2:3:1 bays under gables, 2-, 3- and 4-light mullioned windows; outer gables project, the left-hand one with 2 ranges of windows, and small oculus in apex. The projecting right-hand gable, with 4-light windows, bears "IMB", for John and Mary Biddulph and the date 1635. The apex of the 3 recessed dormer gables are inscribed 'IHS’ with a heart pierced by the nails of Christ's crucifixion and ‘MAR’ and a heart pierced by an arrow. Porch break level with left wing (string continued) has enriched occulus, and pilastered doorpiece with ball finials to cornice and ledged door. Plain wall with one 2-light mullioned window extends between porch and right-hand wing, marking centre on ground and first floors. Side elevations of 2 bays of 2-light mullioned windows. Interior: flat baluster staircase of short flights to left of porch.
