2/83 Manor Farmhouse -

- II

Farmhouse. Dated 1739 with mid C19 refacing to rear. Painted stone; block dressings; blue tile roof, verge parapets. Stone end and axial centre ridge stacks. Through-passage plan. Two-storey, irregularly fenestrated five-window front, four-pane sashes of differing sizes, three to first floor left of centre, three to ground floor centre and right with entrance to right of centremost window; C20 glazed door and block label over; ground floor right hand window inscribed WSL to lintol. Single-storey wing attached to right. Rear 1739 rebuilt in mid C19 as garden front: rock-faced coursed stonework and imposed symmetrical layout of four, four-paned sashes.
