Details

FLORE KINGS LANE SP6460 (West side) 11/110 No.4 (The Hollies) - II House. Dated 1679. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roofs, brick end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Main front to garden has central 6-panel door with overlight and timber lintel in gabled porch flanked by 3-light casement windows with stop-chamfered lintels, that to right on a higher level and over a part-blocked 3-light chamfered stone mullion casement window; a small blocked window to far left. A 3-light casement window to first floor left with stop-chamfered timber lintel, small 2-light casement with timber lintel over door. Quoins, brick nogged eaves, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Right gable has datestone inscribed IH/l679. Wing to rear right has various 2- and 3-light leaded casements with timber lintels. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams, open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and old plank doors.
