Farmhouse. Probably C15 with later alterations. Timber framed; plain tile roof; brick ridge stack and off-ridge stacks. T-shaped plan. Hall range aligned east-west and 2-framed bay cross-wing aligned north-south. Gabled cross-wing to left, hall range to right; 2 storeys and attic; 2 windows, casements; hall range has gabled dormer to left and small first-floor casement above central door with cambered lintel. Framing: Crosswing has closely spaced studs interrupted by 2 rails, bracketed attic bresummer, roof truss with closely spaced studs, collar, one pair of purlins and ridge piece; hall range has closely spaced studs, left of the door alternate studs are interrupted by a middle rail, right of the door the middle rail is continuous, straight brace above door. Low lean- to extension to right. Interior: Pair of cruck blades with Alcock type F, apex type. Alcock p.155.
