House. Early C16 core, extended, remodelled and partly rebuilt early C19. Roughcast to earlier timber frame; fishscale tile roof with coped verges. 2 storeys with first floor band; 3 windows, glazing bar casements except 24-pane glazing bar sashes to ground floor right and centre, small firewindow to right, right hand bay recessed slightly; door to right of centre approached by flight of balustraded stone steps. Interior: Original west gable now forms an internal partition between central and west bays, close-studded timber framing, jettied gable, approximately 4 feet above present first floor level with billet-moulded and roll-moulded bresummer, close studded partition wall at first floor level between central and east bays, inserted timbers immediately below retains fragments of a wall painting; roof has a single pair of purlins, ridge piece and curved wind braces. Formerly the Dolphin Inn.
