ROLLESTON C.P. BURNSIDE SK 22 NW 11/52 Nos. 14 and 16 GV II
House. Now in 2 units. C17 with late C19 alterations. Timber frame, rendered to frontage and part replaced in brickwork; concrete tiled roof; side stacks and ridge stacks to right of centre. L-shaped plan. Single storey and attic on stone plinth; 3-bay front; gabled cross wing to right and matching gable to left attempting symmetry. Lattice single- light window to apex of right gable; 3-light casements within both gables; 2-light casements to the left of each ground-floor bay; boarded doors to the right of the centre and left bays. Exposed timber frame of 3 tiers of square panels to rear and part of side elevation. Round-arch doorway to side of cross wing. Interior: miniature overlight to door in central room with balustraded bars and no glazing.
