GV II

2 houses, now offices. c1830, with late C19 alterations. Brick with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof with 3 coped external side wall stacks. Plinth, first and second floor sillbands, deep eaves. 3 storeys; 5 window range of tall 12 pane sashes with brick flat arches. Above, 5 smaller 12 pane sashes. Central painted stone doorcase with plain pilasters and scroll brackets to flat hood. Moulded 4-panel door with margin glazed overlight. On each side, two 12 pane sashes. Left return has a parapeted single storey addition with a single plain sash, and in the return angle a flat-roofed corniced square porch with a side-facing 4 panel door and a round-headed window. Rear has a basement, coursed squared stone, and above, 2 windows on each floor. Lower right French window has a wrought-iron balcony. INTERIOR not inspected.
