ECCLESHALL NEWCASTLE ROAD 1. 5373 Slindon SJ 83 SW 9/109 Church of St Chad 24.1.67. II* 2. 1894. Architect: Basil Champneys. Late Gothic, freely treated in style and very successful. Stone with tiled roof. Of cruciform plan with low central tower. Chancel, crossing and porch stone vaulted. Good, but restrained, interior with some Kempe glass.
