SJ 90 NE SARENDON C.P. - 3/20 Great Saredon Farmhouse -
- II
Farmhouse. Early to mid-C18, re-fenestrated and extensively repaired in the early C19. Red brick; plain tile roof with raised verges; brick integral end stacks.L-shaped plan, principal range aligned north-south and rear wing to the north-east aligned east-west; kitchen and dairy wing attached to the north end of principal range on the same alignment. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic with early C19 dentilled parapet band and coped parapet. 3 window, glazing bar sashes with wedge-shaped brick lintels. False window to first floor centre. Central early C19 six-panel door with panelled doorcase and moulded architrave. Kitchen and dairy wing set-back to the left: one storey and gable-lit attic with dentilled eaves band; C20 casement to right; central brick ridge stack. Interior. Cheese press in the dairy.
