THE DRAPERY 1. 5327 (West Side) No 41 (Formerly listed as Premises occupied by National Provincial Bank) SP 7560 NW 1/117 9.12.68. II GV
2. Formerly the Northamptonshire Union Bank. 1841 by E F Law. Ashlar Neoclassical front with tall Composite order to upper floors. Basement and 3 storeys, balustraded roof parapet either side of pediment on 4 fluted half columns. Channelled ground floor has doorways either end, 3 sash windows in projecting centre. Upper floors have end pilasters; 5 sash windows in eared architrave surrounds, central window frieze, cornice on consoles. Entablature with dentil cornice, tympanum high relief of phoenix, logs and flames.
Nos 41 to 49 (odd) form a group.
