SP 7159 NE UPTON UPTON LANE (west side) 4/15 Park House and attached outbuilding range 22/01/76 (formerly listed as - Park House) - II
House. Late C17 altered Cl9 and C20. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, C20 plain-tile roof, brick end stacks. 3 unit plan. 2 storeys and attic. 7-window range. Central 6-panel part-glazed door in C20 gabled porch flanked by narrow 8-pane sash windows. Similar windows either side of central first floor window. Otherwise quartered sashes to ground floor and 12-pane sashes to first floor. All have blue brick sills and wood lintels. 3 gabled roof dormers. Central projecting stair turret to rear. Single storey outbuilding range to rear left with datestone inscribed WS/1792. Interior has fine dog-leg staircase from ground floor to attic with fat turned balusters, ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams, 6-panel doors with HL hinges. Early/mid C18 wood eaved fireplace surround in upper room. Adjoining closet with original plank doors hinges and latches. Stone cellar.

2. C16 or C17, altered C19. Coursed rubble, steeply pitched tiled roof with kneelers and stone coping to gables. T plan. 2 storeys, flush sash windows with glazing bars in moulded frames. Single storey north wing at right angles.
