Kitchen garden walls and attached gates and gatepiers. Garden probably laid out in about 1676 for James Tryon. Walls are mainly C18 restored C19 and C20. Squared coursed limestone and brick with ashlar and brick header copings. Pair of limestone ashlar gatepiers, with ball finials, are linked by pair of plain wrought-iron gates with diagonally-placed bars, swept top and spiked finials; possibly late C17. Sections of wall are attached to both sides of the gatepiers. The gates and gatepiers are on an axis with the entrances gates to Bulwick Hall and attached entrance loggia and garden room (q.v) and gates and gatepiers approximately 150 metres south-west of Bulwick Hall (q,v).
