Details
BRIGSTOCK PARK WALK SP9485 (South side) 15/84 No.25 (Whitehall House) - II
Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, remodelled late C18/early C19. Squared coursed limestone and rendered brick, with Welsh slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 5-window range of irregular casements, with glazing bars, under wood lintels. 3-light stone mullion window with hood mould, to ground floor centre. 4-panel door to left of centre under wood lintel with flat C20 hood. Chamfered plinth, ashlar gable parapet and brick stacks at ends. C19 and C20 two-unit brick and stone extension attached to right. Rear is similar with some stop-chamfered lintels and central C20 French doors. Interior has large spine beams between hall and room to left. Early C19 staircase with reeded stick balusters. Some original roof structure remains.
