- II
House. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble, coursed squared stone, tile roof, moulded stone flanking stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. U-plan with two projecting gabled wings at rear. Central doorway with C19 gabled brick porch, part-glazed 4-panel door with overlight and wood lintel. 3-light casement window with wood lintel on either side. Window openings enlarged C19/C20, Similar windows in outer bays on first floor. 2-light casement window with wood lintel in centre. Moulded stone stacks. Wing extending from left side at rear, similar materials. 2 storeys, one bay. Has 3-light window with old wood mullions on ground floor on north side. C20 windows with old wood lintels on south side. Coped gable end with brick and stone stack on gable. Similar wing extending from right side has C20 window on ground floor and 3-light casement window with wood lintel in gable end on first floor. Interior: Rear wing on left side has ground floor room with chamfered spine beam and joists (probably renewed and altered). Similar beams in first floor room. Open fireplace with original bressumer and C20 grate.
