Church of England mortuary chapel. c.1857-58. By E.F. Law. Squared coursed and rusticated limestone with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Sinqle-unit chapel. Single storey. Gabled entrance front has pair of central plank doors with decorative hinges, under pointed chamfered arch. 3-light decorated style window above with tracery. Small 2-stage square tower to left has lancet windows to lower stage and 2-light bellchamber openings to upper stage. Ashlar cornice with corbel table and corner gargoyles. Broach spire with fish scale slate covering and metal cross finial. Side elevations, of three window range, and rear one-window range are similar to entrance front. 2-stage buttresses at corners and between window ranges. Gabled porch attached to right side elevation. Interior not inspected. Forms part of a planned cemetery layout with Non-conformist mortuary chapel (q.v.) and cemetery lodge (q.v.).
