Bourtons Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Datestone W.M./1655. Squared coursed lias with asbestos tile roof. Originally probably three-unit plan, two storeys with attic, four-window range of C20 casements, bow window to left, C20 door to far right has hood mould over. Plank door to far left. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick and stone stacks at ridge and ends. Right gable has two three-light and one two-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds over. Datestone in right gable. Rear has one three-light stone mullioned window with hood mould over. The right gable is noted by R.B. Wood-Jones for the asymmetrical arrangement of windows.
