ALWINTON SHILMOOR NT 80 NE 13/21 Stable, granary and pigsty c.20 yards east of Shilmoor Farmhouse
GV II
Stable, granary and pigsty. Dated 1815 over 1st floor window. Random rubble with dressed-stone quoins and surrounds. Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys. Boarded door with half-shuttered window to right. On 1st floor one 6-pane casement. Date on lintel of 1st floor window. Gabled roof with flat coping.
Lean-to pigsty on right return has door and exercise yard to rear.
Further farm buildings attached to rear of stable, not of special interest.
