CARTINGTON DEBDON WHITEFIELD NU 00 SE NU 08710412 to NU 09080319 17/17 Row of 3 boundary stones south of Debdon Whitefield II

3 boundary stones, probably C18. Sandstone. Segmental-topped rectangular pillars 0.75 to 0.90 metre high, with incised Roman letters C (Cartington) on east and R (Rothbury) on west. On former parish boundary. The southern stone is not shown on the current 0.S. map. Another stone further south, at NU 09340250, is shown by the O.S. but was not located.
