8/4 Outbuilding 50 metres south-west of Penpeugh Farmhouse
GV II
Cottage, dated WA on lintel, incorporating earlier fabric, 1751 now agricultural store. Rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. Single storey, 2 bays. Central boarded door with chamfered surround and alternating jambs, flanked by blocked 2-light chamfered mullioned windows. Rear elevation has inserted cart entrance spanned by re-set C16 moulded beam, (c.f. Partridge Nest Farmhouse, probably from Willimontswick). To left low blocked doorway with monolithic lintel of bastle house type. Interior not seen.
