HALL STILE BANK 1. (South East Side) 5334 Entrance gateway to the Henry King Memorial Almshouses NY 9364 1/116 2.10.51.

2. Late C17 or early C18. Removed from elsewhere and erected in present position by late Mr Lockhart, who owned the Manor Office and the Moot Hall among others. Stone, rusticated, pulvinated frieze, bolection architrave, eared. Segmental pediment with consoles above panelled pilaster strips.

Nos 24 to 34 (even) together with the entrance gateway to the Henry King Memorial Alms- houses, form a group of which Nos 28 and 34 are of local interest.
