STANNINGTON BLAGDON PARK NZ 2176 14/88 Milkhope Farm Cottages Nos.1-4 28.1.86 consecutive, with walls and privy/ stores attached GV II 2 pairs of cottages, with linking walls to rear privy/coalstore blocks. Mid C19 with recent facsimile extensions. Coursed squared sandstone with tooled- and-margined flush alternating jambs, cills and lintels. Stone eaves corbels. Scottish slate roof with stone ridge and copings on deep kneelers; banded ridge chimneys. One storey. At left Nos. 1 and 2 of 4 and 5 bays, the 3 right bays being extension. At right Nos. 3 and 4, 6 and 3 bays, the 3 left bays being extension. 4-panel doors with overlights. Replaced 12-pane sash windows. Behind, at either end L-shaped walls lead to 4 small pent blocks, 2 in angles and 2 at extremities, with boarded doors and small casements.
