NETHERWITTON STANTON NZ 18 NW NZ 132898 10/149 Selby House Farmhouse and adjacent outbuilding II House; main block dated 1860 on lintel but incorporating C17 fabric to rear; outbuilding to south is a separate house of c.1700. Main block tooled squared stone front, outbuilding squared stone with dressings, both parts rubble to rear. Slate roofs. Main block 2 storeys, 3 + 1 bays. Rusticated quoins, 1st floor sill band. 3-bay section symmetrical. 9-panel door with 4-pane overlight in raised stone surround; 16-pane sash windows, those to ground floor with slightly-projecting sills. Set back to right outbuilding of 2 low storeys and 3 irregular bays; blocked door to left with chamfered raised stone surround; to right 2 first-floor windows, probably originally mullioned, with similar surrounds. Rear elevation: continous outshut to rear of main block in part of a C17 house. Irregular fenestration including two 2-light mullioned windows with raised stone surrounds and old iron bars. Small rear wing not of interest. Outbuilding to left shows blocked door right of Centre and windows with raised and chamfered stone surrounds.
