WALLINGTON DEMESNE NZ 08 SE NZ 075840 14/156 Highlaws Farmhouse II House, dated 1728 with initials W.D.A. (William and Dorothy Aynsley) on lintel of north door, now concealed; late C19 rear wing. Front elevation squared stone, left return rendered, right return rubble; rear wing squared stone with tooled-and-margined dressings: slate roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays, symmetrical. Central 6-panel door in wave-moulded surround; late C19 sash windows in earlier moulded stone surrounds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers; stepped and corniced ashlar stacks. Rear wing has twin gables; raised quoins and window surrounds.
