Details

WEST HILL 1. 5204 (North Side) St Leonards No 18 Including Garden Boundary Wall to South and West TQ 7908 NE 10/556 II GV 2. Circa 1835 by Decimus Burton for his sister Eliza who lived there until her death in 1869. Single storey lodge. Stuccoed. Slate roof with gabled ends with moulded bargeboards with finials. Asymmetrical design. Wooden square and canted bay windows, casements. Tall rendered chimney stacks. Interior: 2 main rooms have raised ceilings formed within roof space, central lantern lights. Including garden boundary wall to south and west, flint cobbled with inset stone pilasters and diamond shapes, stone coping, the curved corner has been cement rendered, and with octagonal gate piers at south east end.

Nos 14 to 24 (even) form a group.
