Details
MAZE HILL 1. 5204 (East Side) St Leonards No 13 TQ 7908 NE 10/436 TQ 7909 21/436 II GV 2. Circa 1830-1835. By James Burton. Detached villa in Tudor gothic style. Stuccoed. Tiled hipped roof. Three storeys and semi-basement. Right and left project, the right-hand gabled with shaped bargeboards, basement and ground floor canted bay and first floor three-light wood mullion/transom window with dripmould. Left-hand projection with hipped roof and chimney breast rising up front wall with small gothic niche under the eaves. The recesssed centre, steps from street to balconied porch with wooden posts supporting hipped tiled roof rising to first floor canted bay window of casements. Simple area railings to left. Left-hand return two small gables.
Nos 9 to 13 (consec) form a group.
