GRAND PARADE 1. 5204 St Leonards Burton Memorial Stone TQ 8008 NW 11/377 II 2. Dated 1898. A roughly-hewn pink granite block about 5 ft high and tapered, on low plinth with inscription "This stone erected in 1898 marks the eastern boundary at this point of the Town of St Leonards Founded by the Late James Burton Esq 1828".
