Two cottages, now house. C16 or earlier, reconstructed in C17 and restored in later C20. Timber-framed and roughcast on ground floor to left and in centre and in centre of first floor and in gable to right with painted brick ground floor to right and tile-hung first floor to left. Plain tiled hipped roof to left with step down to slate roof in centre and on gabled crosswing to right. Projecting crosswing to right. Extruded stack abutting No 43 (qv) to right with stack behind ridge to left. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration of 4 windows on first floor and three on ground floor, sliding sashes except sashes in two-storey canted bay on crosswing to right. Panelled door with flat over to left of crosswing.
