Cranleigh School,
approx. 5 metres NE
of Common House

GV II

Barn. C17 and C18. Timber-framed, clad in weatherboarding on stone
plinth with C19 brick lean-to to rear. Peg-tiled roof. Central cart
entrance. 8 bays with mid rail and some curved braces to wall frame.
Roof has through purlins with some queen posts and some angled queen
struts. Original pegged rafters without ridgepiece. Some diagonal and
some curved braces to roof. Weatherboarded partition to penultimate
bay. Frame intact except for north end which has later, probably C19,
framing.
