House, now two shops and office. Probably second half C16 with C18 wing, refronted early C18; C20 alterations. Timber frame with later brick infill and tile-hanging, front of painted brick. Plain tile roofs. Probably central smoke-bay plan.
Two storeys, four first floor windows, with wing to rear left. Two C20 shop fronts, not of special interest. Leaded casement windows with flat brick arches to first floor of three-, three-, two- and three- lights. Cogged eaves. End stack on right.
Rear: wing has square panelled timber framing with tile-hung sides and hipped roof.
Interior: timber frame members exposed, particularly on first floor of left-hand bays which has timber framed cross-wall with large arched brace between bays, and similar brace to tie-beam; in rear wall a wooden mullioned and transomed three-light window with wooden stanchions, diamond leading, old glass and one casement; roof trusses have curving v struts with collar and clasped through purlins.
