2. Modern front, reproduction C18 character. On site of 2 former houses. 2 storey and attic. Brick with elaborate moulded wood cornice and old tile roof. 2 large hipped dormers. 4 windows with architrave frames on 1st floor. 3 on ground floor and 4-fielded-panelled door to left hand in arched opening with panelled reveals, radiating fanlight, delicate architrave and key block to head, and doorcase of Ionic pilasters, fluted, broken dentilled and modillion cornice and open pediment.
All the listed buildings in Castle street (East Side) form a group.
