Headstones,1761 and 1774. Sandstone. 2 adjacent slabs with shaped segmental tops: northern has inscription to Robert Dixon d.1761 and verse
Confide not reader in thy youth or strength But more than both thy present moment prize. Graves here surround the(e) of each brea(d)th and length And thou mayst be perhaps the next to die.
On reverse relief skull and crossed bones, and 'memento mori'. Southern stone has shaped panel with open book and inscription to Robert Hume d.1774.
