8/11 Beckingham Station House and Boundary wall.

G.V. II

House, formerly railway station, c.1875. Gault brick with red brick, blue brick and stone dressings, concrete slab roof. Single side wall, single ridge and single gable stacks. Blue brick plinth, 4 red brick bands, 2 storeys, 4 bays, T plan. Gabled wing to left has single paired sash on each floor with red brick segmental heads. Lean-to to left, one storey, one bay, has single glazing bar sash with segmental head. Main range, to right, has central blocked doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes; above, 3 similar sashes, all with segmental heads. Ticket office, to right, one storey, one bay, has a pair of plain sashes with segmental heads. To right again, toilet block, one storey, one bay, has pair of close-boarded doors with segmental heads. Beyond, to right, boundary wall, gault brick, stone coping, with recessed red brick panels, approx. 25 m long.
