GV II
House, formerly inn. Mid-C18, extended early C19. Coursed rubble (whitewashed) with dressings, roughly cut in C18 part; slate roof, stacks rebuilt in yellow brick. Main part 2 storeys; 2 wide bays. Central renewed door in stone surround with narrow chamfer; small- pane iron-framed casements (lower 54-pane, upper 45-pane) in stone surrounds. Coped gables, end stacks. Set back to right, C19 2-storey 2-bay part. Margined sashes with 16-pane sashes above; tooled lintels, slightly-projecting sills. Coped right gable with brick stack. Rear elevation: contemporary outshut and rear wing to C18 part.
