GV II

House, early C18 refenestrated early C19. Squared stone with tooled dressings; slate roof; brick and stone stacks. South elevation 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door with 3-pane overlight and moulded gabled hood on consoles, flanked by 4-pane sashes; 12-pane sashes (central renewed) to 1st floor. All openings in raised stone surrounds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers, rebuilt brick left end stack. Right return 3 bays. Central bay has renewed door with blocked window over. Gabled left bay has 4-pane sashes to ground floor, 1st floor and attic. Right bay has paired plate-glass sashes with 4-pane sash over. All openings (except attic window) in raised stone surrounds. Coped right gable with moulded kneelers carries old brick stack with stone cornice; stepped ridge stack.
