BURGAGE GREEN SK7054 1919-0/7/4 (South East side) 09/02/73 Burgage Hill Cottage and boundary wall and gatepiers. (Formerly Listed as: Small house to N of Elmfield House with the wall adjoining to the NE)

GV II

House and adjoining wall and gatepiers. Early C19 with mid C20 alterations. Brick with stone dressings and hipped slate roof. Chamfered eaves, single ridge and side wall stacks. 2 storeys; 3 window range of renewed glazing bar sashes arranged 2/1. Below, off-centre 4-panel door with rendered surround. To left, 2 sashes and to right a single sash, all with keystoned lintels. To left, a single storey lean-to adition. To right, brick boundary wall with gabled brick coping, approx. 10M long. Pair of square brick gatepiers with pyramidal stone caps.
