OXTON MAIN STREET(east side) Church Farmhouse

GV II Farmhouse. Late C17 and C19. Red brick, some ashlar. Plain tile roof. Single rendered central ridge stack. Ashlar coped gables with kneelers. Double depth plan. 2 storeys plus garret, 2 bays. Doorway with 6 fielded panel door and glazing bar overlight. 2 ashlar brackets support an ashlar hood. To the right is a single 2 light sash with single wooden mullion. Above are two 2 light glazing bar casements each with single mullion. Above first floor windows are 4 tie plates. The garden front has 2 tripartite casements. Above are two 2 light glazing bar casements all with wooden mullions. On the top floor are two C20 glazing bar casements. All windows have ashlar dripmoulds.
