Details
FARNDON CHURCH STREET SK 75 SE (south side) 3/33 Farndon Lodge (formerly listed 16.1.67 as Tally Ho Lodge) G.V. II House. Mid C18 with late C18 and early C20 extensions. Red brick, some ashlar. Hipped slate roofs. Late C18 front with single red brick stacks to rear right and left. Dentil eaves. Set on a plinth. 2 storeys, 3 bays. First floor band. Central ashlar porch with fluted Doric columns, triglyph frieze with circular metopes and cornice with decorative mutules, 6 panelled door and overlight. Either side are single glazing bar sashes with early C20 decorative flush wedge ashlar lintels. Above are 3 similar sashes and lintels. To the left is the C20 2 storey extension with no openings. To the rear is the mid C18 wing and further C20 extensions.
