II

School and teacher's house. Late C19. Brick with patterned tile hanging and plain tile roofs. Ashlar dressings. Brick plinth with chamfered ashlar coping, sill band, moulded first floor band, bargeboards on curved brackets. Single grouped ridge stack. Single and 2 storeys, 4 bays. Cross plan. Ground floor windows are stone mullioned leaded casements and above, leaded casements. South front has to left, 2 storey gabled bay and to right, gabled porch. To left, moulded Tudor arched doorway with foundation stone (inscription illegible). To left again, single casement and to right, 2 smaller casements. Porch has moulded doorcase with hood mould and C19 door. East side has chamfered square casement. Above, to left, a casement. East gable has to left, double leaded sash. To right, chamfered pointed doorway. West gable has a single casement. Gabled rear wing, single and 2 storeys, has a door flanked by single casements. To right again, another casement. Above, a casement.
