II

Farmhouse. C17 and C19. Timber framed with brick nogging,
rendered C20, and steep pitched interlocking tile roof. Single
gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets, 3 bays.
Baffle entry. L-plan. East front has off-centre C20 door with
segmental head, flanked to left by 2 and to right by single C20
casements. Above, 3 C20 casements. South gable has remains of
Yorkshire sash to garret. Rear elevation has C19 lean-to
additions, brick with pantile roofs, in return angle and to west
of rear wing. To left, lean-to has close boarded door in plain
jambs. To right, 2 C20 casements. Above, to left, C20 Yorkshire
sash and C20 casement, and to their right, 2 Yorkshire sashes of
different sizes. Rear wing has C20 fenestration and above,
remains of leaded Yorkshire sash. Interior has principal rafter
roof with clasp purlins. 3 jowled bay posts. Chamfered span
beams and joists. North end has C17 oak winder stair extending
to garret, with square C19 newels and stick balusters. South end
has early C19 winder stair in square well, with turned newels,
stick balusters and oval moulded handrail. Single early C19 hob
grate. 2 C17 and 3 C18 plank doors.
