Country house. 1838. For Rev. J. Girardot. Tudor Revival style. Brick with patterned plain tile roofs. Ashlar dressings. Plinth, ashlar quoins and copings, first floor and lintel band, string course, coped gables with kneelers. 3 gable and 3 ridge stacks, grouped and partly external. Windows are cross mullioned casements. 2 storeys plus attics, 3 bays. Irregular plan. West front has projecting central bay with stepped coped parapet and four centred arched doorway. To left, projecting 2 storey bay. To its right, a casement. Above, 2 casements. Above again, to left, a casement. South front has projecting central gabled bay with canted 2 storey bay window, flanked by single smaller projecting bays. On each floor, 3 casements, those in the centre larger. To right, set back 2 storey service wing with door and above, a casement. East front has C20 fenestration. Rear elevation has 2 projecting wings with lean-to outbuildings between them. To left, C20 flat roofed garage. C19 and C20 fenestration.
