4/11 Welham Hall 1.2.67 G.V. II
Small country house. c.1815. Brick, stucco and colourwash, hipped slate roof. Ramped ashlar plinth, moulded eaves, 3 ridge stacks. 3 storeys, 3 bays, square plan. Main east front has central projecting semi-circular bay, 2 storeys, with flat roof and parapet, containing 3 French windows, flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Above, cast iron balcony on decorative brackets and 3 French windows, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with cast iron balconies. To left, C20 single storey flat roofed extension. Rear elevation has off-centre flat roofed C19 ashlar porch with double door, flanked to left by 4 and to right by 2 glazing bar sashes. Above, 7 glazing bar sashes, and above again, 3 blank panels flanked by 2 smaller glazing bar sashes. North end has central blank panel flanked by single glazing bar sashes on first 2 floors and above again, 2 glazing bar sashes and single C20 casement.
