Details
SK 75 SE AVERHAM CHURCH LANE (north side) 9/4 Rectory Cottage G.V. II House. C18 and C19. Brick, partly rendered, with gabled and hipped interlocking tile roof. Rebated and dentillated eaves. 2 gable and single ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. L-plan. South front has C18 wing to west. Off-centre door flanked to left by a glazing bar sash and to right by a Yorkshire sash and beyond, a glazing bar sash, all with segmental heads. Above, to left, sloping dormer with Yorkshire sash, and to right a glazing bar sash. C19 east front has off-centre panelled door with overlight, flanked to right by a glazing bar sash, both with segmental heads. Above, 2 glazing bar sashes. C18 wing has principal rafter roof with collars and clasp purlins. Winder stair with landing, square newels and stick balusters. C19 fitted cupboard with glazed doors, single C18 plank door, 2 C19 panelled doors, reeded stone fireplace with paterae.
