II
Former rectory, now a house. Mid C18, with early and late C19 alterations. Brick, mainly roughcast, with stone dressings and plain tile roof. Plinth, coped gables, 4 gable stacks, one to the rear external. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes, those to the front with keystoned heads. 2 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Above, 3 gabled dormers with top hung casements. Central flat roofed late C19 porch with 6-panel door and overlight, and a single window in either side. Beyond, 2 windows. 2 gabled rear wings have late C19 fenestration. Left side has, to left, 2 segment headed sashes and above them, a margin light French window with a cast iron balcony on brackets. To right, a lean-to conservatory. Right side has, to right, 2 sashes on each floor. Interior has early C19 straight stair with return landing, turned newels and stick balusters. C18 winder stairs at rear. Single butt purlin roofs of re-used timber. This building was used as the residence of the Parish vicar from the late C18.
